Pizza factory began as a dream inside a small kitchen in Cameron Park, California. In 1998, founder Marco Bellini — a third-generation Italian-American — set out to create a pizza factory that honored the old-world craft of pizza-making while embracing the California love for fresh, vibrant ingredients.
From humble beginnings serving neighbors on Coach Lane, we've grown into a beloved local institution. Our dough is still hand-stretched daily, our sauces still simmered from whole tomatoes, and our ovens still fire at 900°F to give you that perfect crisp crust every single time.

1998
The First Oven
Marco Bellini opens Pizza factory in a 600 sq ft space on Coach Lane, Cameron Park. The menu has just 6 pizzas — all made in a single imported Italian stone oven.

2003
First Expansion
Demand triples. We triple our kitchen space, add a second oven, and launch our now-famous garlic knots and calzones alongside the original pizza lineup.

2008
Delivery Launch
We launch our first delivery service to the Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills communities, bringing hot pizzafactory pies directly to customers' doorsteps for the first time.

Farm Partnership Program
We formalize partnerships with three local Sierra Foothills farms, committing to use only locally grown produce and giving each pizza an even fresher, more vibrant flavor profile.

20th Anniversary Renovation
We celebrate two decades with a full restaurant renovation — new dining room, open kitchen concept, and the addition of our wood-fired pasta and craft beer menu.

A third-generation Italian-American with 30+ years of pizza-making experience. Marco's vision and passion for authentic Neapolitan craft started everything at Pizza factory.

Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Sofia brings creativity and technical precision to our kitchen. She leads the development of seasonal specials and new menu additions.
